Tuna and Carrot Salad

Be surprised by amazing little salad. This is a super quick and tasty side dish if you'd like to add a bit of colour on your table or enjoy as a healthy snack on its own. Just chop a carrot and mix the tuna with the sauce and it's ready to eat!

Ingredients

  • 1 Carrot

Sauce

  • 1 tin Tuna in Spring Water (Alt. in Oil)
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil (Not required if using Tuna in Oil)
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • ½ tbsp Lemon Juice (Alt. Lime Juice)
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tsp Sesame
  • 1 pinch Stock Powder
  • 1 pinch Sugar

  • Slice a carrot into a small stick shape
    1 Carrot
  • Place cling wrap over loosely then microwave (600w) for 2 mins 30 secs
    800W > 1 min 50 secs
    1000W > 1 min 30 secs
  • Put the carrot onto a paper towel to drain the excess moisture
  • Mix all the sauce ingredients then add into a bowl with the carrot
