Super-Easy Teriyaki Chicken

Ingredients

  • 300 g Chicken thigh

Teriyaki Sauce

  • tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Mirin
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp Corn flour

  • Prick chicken thigh with a fork several places
    300 g Chicken thigh
  • Do the same on the other side of the meat
  • Mix all the source ingredients in a microwave safe bowl
    1½ tbsp Soy Sauce, 1 tbsp Mirin, 1 tbsp Sugar, 2 tsp Corn flour
  • Place the meat into the sauce and putting a cling wrap loosely then microwave (600w) for 3 mins.
    800W > 2 mins 15 secs
    1000W > 1 mins 50 secs
  • Turn over the meat carefully
  • Place cling wrap loosely over. Microwave (600w) for 3 mins and put it aside for 10 mins to allow to cook with residual heat
    800W > 2 mins 15 secs
    1000W > 1 mins 50 secs
  • Continue cooking the sauce a further 2 or 3 minutes at 600w until the sauce is thickened (see photo)
